Greetings! I am the author of It’s a Dog Tag Wife Life and this is the chronicles of my adventures through life as a military wife. Although to be honest, I’m not quite a military wife, yet. My soon to be husband (who I shall refer to as “the hunny”) and I are engaged to be married, fairly soon. We’ve only been engaged a few weeks and we only have a few months left. The wedding will be beautiful, even if it’s stressful at now.
Enough of the wedding. So this will be used as a place for my thoughts, frustrations, rants, excitements, and all the other things that pop in my life. I don’t consider myself the “conventional” military bride. I have a full time career that I am very proud of plus, a liberal streak even though I consider myself moderate, and the last person I ever expected myself to be with was an Army soldier. I do try to be as understanding of the hunny’s job as possible, yet, I get frustrated by it as well.
I have lots of interests and plan on letting you all know what their like, as well as the trials and tribulations that I go through when the hunny isn’t home (training, deployments, what not). Can you imagine me mowing the lawn or changing a tire? It’ll be entertaining if nothing else. I hope you stay tuned to what is going on in my life and I look forward to hearing from you!
